ABOUT

A way of seeing.

My work takes several forms — facilitating growth and innovation within leadership teams, speaking on nature and creativity and the art of paying attention, making art, and guiding people into the kind of stillness that only seems to happen outdoors. What holds it together isn't a job description. It's a way of seeing.

|        The questions I kept asking led me there.

I trained as a Fine Artist and spent years teaching — children and adults, in classrooms and in the open air. Somewhere along the way I became a certified Biomimicry Practitioner and a Nature Therapy Guide, not because I was collecting credentials, but because the questions I kept asking led me there. How does nature solve problems? What happens to people when they slow down enough to actually look? What do living systems know that organisations have forgotten?

Those questions are still what drive the work.

I co-founded Jack Frost with my partner Paul Steenkamp. Together we work with leadership teams across South Africa, the Middle East, and Europe — helping them find the answers that are already present in their teams, their context, and the natural world around them. Our base is Cape Town, with deep roots in the fynbos ecosystem of Table Mountain. We also work from Dubai.

The facilitation, the speaking, the art, the time in nature — these aren't separate careers. They're the same practice, expressed in different forms. I've stopped trying to explain that and started just living it.
